Eric's Grille is a classic cash-only southern grill. Order at the counter, pay, and wait at a table for your order. This is a flat top grill and the chef knows how to move orders along. Doesn't take long, standard fare *performed excellently* at very reasonable prices. Eggs (Any way you'd like), bacon/sausage/ham, toast and grits. (Properly seasoned grits I might add, I always have to ask for extra butter when I order grits; but not here.).I like this place.

I have been in several times since first treated to lunch here. It is a clean, quick simple place to get a no frills meal. With no frills, you get lowest price, yet best quality of that food item. Easy location at Walmart complex. Friendly staff. Need to pay in Cash, but they have an ATM in there left of the entrance. You can buy a family lunch or breakfast here and not break your bank. Great concept that is working. They honor Service vets and all Military as you can see from their walls. A true American diner establishment!

This place is awesome, we had the breakfast plate and shared the biscuits and gravy. The home fries were so good. The staff was really nice as well . I want to go back and try their cheeseburgers. Yummy!

Really good burgers, and dogs. Fries are old fashion fries. Really tasty. Everyone seems really friendly. The decor is a lot of vintage car stuff. They honor vterans too.

One of the go to places for breakfast and lunch in Southport. Always quick service with food made to order and impressively inexpensive.The establishment's owner and namesake, the eponymous Eric is as friendly as a host can be. He runs a tight ship and still finds time to connect personally with just about every customer to walk through his doors.Important to note is that the diner will be closed some days with little to no warning, but those are rare days. If you want to be sure, call ahead. They're happy to take your order over the phone too!

Our youth group stops here every year on the way to Fort Caswell for a week. We love the food, but most of all we love how Eric and his staff love our kids and adults. He prays for our group every year before we head out to camp Caswell. He shows his passion for God and people. This stop is always a must for us. Thank you Eric for being a blessing to all of us.

I was so impressed with how quick we were greeted order taken and served at 12:30pm on Monday. The atmosphere is so comfortable and the owner makes it a point to come and check how everything is. The prices are great I mean $3.50 for a big hand made cheeseburger! I can't say enough ya just have to check it out. Don't turn away if there's a line it won't take you but a few minutes!!

Feeling GOOD FOOD, no ambiance, at all...just sayin'. Strip mall. Love the breakfast biscuits and super affordable! All is cooked in front of you so you know what you're getting Very reasonable and comfort food-ish.

Food was good. Someone has put together many models.The cook seemed to have an attitude that appeared to reflect in the other workers cold customer service. I was apparently change over time because the cook felt the need to tell the others six or seven times they were no longer serving breakfast. I expect to be treated as as if they were glad I chose to spend my money in their establishment. I could have gone to Fat Andy or Famous Subs and Pizza. They are always smiling.

We did not care for this place. It smelled so greasy. Our breakfast was really greasy.

Fantastic grille. Love the burgers, morning and noon. The slaw is to die for, and you've got to have grilled onions. Favorite place to visit when we go to Southport. When we decide to visit this small town, we always plan our day so we can go get breakfast and back for lunch.
